The update for Minecraft 1.19, has arrived and is officially released on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile phones.
Within the new biomes, there are many areas to explore such as the ancient cities in Dark Darkness and the wetland in the Mangrove biome. In addition, while exploring Deep Darkness, you will need to be careful not to call the Warden. If you like something scary, head over to the Mangrove biome for tadpole and frogs. As you run through the biomes, be sure to keep an eye on Allas, the friendly creatures that will help you track various objects.
Additionally, players will find new features in these biomes such as Froglights, which emit bright lights and can be used as decorations. Players can also find Mountain Trees, Mud, Sculk, and chestboats. These are just a few of the things new players will find in The Wild's update.
The update to Minecraft 1.19 was first announced at Minecraft Live 2021 and new biomes and crowds have been mocked ever since. Mojang was testing some of the new features in beta, but now it has reached everyone. Players can jump in and experience all the new things the world of pixels brings in a review of The Wild.
Below is a full list of all the new features in Minecraft 1.19 update.
Deep Dark
Deep Dark is one of two new biomes in the Minecraft 1.19 update. It is found only in the depths of the earth and is home to a new crowd, the Warden. When called upon, players will be given a Dark effect, which limits the player's vision
Within the dark depths, players will find Sculk Blocks, Sculk Veins, Sculk Shriekers, Sculk Sensors, and Sculk Catalysts. The Deep Dark biome is also the only place where the Ancient Cities can breed.
Ancient Cities
Ancient Cities can only be found in the Deep Dark biome and contain a chest full of rare objects. Just make sure you pay attention to Sculk Sensors so you don't call Warden!
The guard
Warden lives in the Deep Dark biome and can be called the Sculk Shriekers. This is an angry mob that relies on its ability to smell and hear to find its enemies.
Mangrove Wetland
The Community Wetland is a new biome in The Wild update and is home to a few new items. While exploring, players will be able to discover new objects such as mango trees, Leaves, Trees, Timber, Propagule, Trees, Roots, Moss Carpets, and Propagules.
This new biome is also home to a new crowd, Frog.
Frogs
Frogs are one of three new crowds in the Minecraft 1.19 update and can be found in the Mangrove Swamp biome. They are an inactive crowd that can be raised in Tadpoles, another new addition to the game.
Froglight
Frogs are a new decorative piece that emits bright light. There are three different types that are all created when the frog eats the Magma Cube. To date, players can find Ocher (Swamp Frog), Pearlescent (Tropical Frog), and Verdants (Frog Frog)
Udaka
One of the new features in The Wild update is mud, which can be found in the Community Wetland. It can also be done naturally by using a water bottle in a dirty place. Players can use mud to make Packed Mud, which can be converted into Mud Bricks.
